John Debrincat has 50 years of experience in business and the Information and Communication Technology Industry he is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society.
 

John’s current roles include:
 

• Principal consultant at ShapedLogic which provides management consulting in planning, strategy and information trchnology.

• Director International Environmental Weed Foundation which is not for profit charity and provides funding and advice for environmental projects.

• Director Habitat Network which undertakes projects to improve habitat for native fauna in our urban areas. It also funds and provides management for The Habitat community garden and native plant nursery in Ryde, NSW.

• Chair of the board of the ACS Foundation an ACNC registered charitable organisation with a charter to Advance Information Technology Through Education and Research.

• Chair of the board Foundation Jobs providing a path for graduates to enter the ITC workforce.

• Industry advisory board of Health Language Analytics LLC which specialises in innovative processing of free-text Clinical Natural Language Processing.
   

ACS Foundation

 

He is Chairman and founding member of the Australian Computer Society Foundation. This is a non-profit organisation that raises money for technology developers in Australia, and also funds numerous scholarships for Information Technology students to universities.

 

International Environmental Weed Foundation

 

John is a Founding Director and board member of the International Environmental Weed Foundation. It is a non-profit body with a mission of expanding the knowledge of how to control non-indigenous plants and weed plants around the world.

 

eCorner - 2003 - 2021

 

John was the founder and Managing Director and of eCorner Pty Ltd, an Australian company. eCorner specialises in offering eCommerce solutions throughout Asia Pacific.

eCorner has provided eCommerce solutions to over 3,500 organisations of all types and sizes, Weight Watchers, Commonwealth Bank, Aegon Direct Marketing Services, Lodex, Translink Queensland, Woolworths and Australian Institute of Sport just to name a few.

 

eCorner has actively developed its own technology to enhance the capabilities offered to its customers. The eCorner business closed in 2021.

 

Compuware – 1994 - 2004

 

John Debrincat was the Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific for Compuware Corporation a NASDAQ (USA) listed company.

 

Executive Computing – 1987 - 1994

 

Prior to Compuware John spent seven years as Director and shareholder of Executive Computing.

 

Prior to 1987 John held several management, sales and technical roles for a number of international information technology companies.
